The surge in COVID-19 patients left hospitals around the country with little resources to treat patients suffering from ailments other than the virus. Worse, many non-infectious people who needed to see a doctor would end up putting off the visit for fear of catching the virus.
Silver Cross' solution was a newer technology called Telemedicine. Now, using FaceTime, Zoom, or other methods, patients could consult with a doctor virtually. No virus. No fears. Just help.
Our job was to spread the word. We used Google Display Network and Facebook/Instagram, geotarged to 20 miles around the Silver Cross campus. The day the campaign launched, Silver Cross reported that they received twice as many virtual appointments as the day before.
